Interrotron Mark III Rental (Director’s Unit and Talent Unit)

The Interrotron Mark III ($845) is made up of of a director’s unit and a talent unit. The director’s half includes a camera, lens, tripod, professional monitor, hood, mirror, and mounting plate. The talent unit includes professional monitor, hood which mounts to a sliding 15mm double gold plate system. The units together make it possible for the director to have a conversation with the talent as if they were face to face, while the talent looks directly into the camera.

The Interrotron Mark II ($645) includes the talent unit, along with a camera and lens. The talent will be able to see the director, however, the director will not be able to see the talent and must look into camera that gives the image of the director to the talent.

Like the Interrotron Mark III, the EyeDirect allows the talent and director the capability to see each other, while still giving the effect that the talent is looking into the lens.

Presidential Teleprompter Rental (aka Speech Prompter)

The presidential teleprompter is made up of two glass panels, set up on both sides of a lectern. This unit is often used at conferences, award shows, graduations, presidential speeches (hence the name).

American Movie Company is regularly requested to prompt for visiting heads of state at the United Nations. We also regularly prompt for politicians and celebrities such as Beyoncé, Oprah, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Michelle Obama and Bill Clinton.

The Rise and Fall Robotic Presidential Teleprompter is another option. This is especially useful for shoots with more than one speaker. The ideal height of a presidential stand is different for everyone, and someone running onstage to fix the height of the prompters between speakers in not only aesthetically pleasing, but also widens the risk of the glass panel breaking. With the robotic prompter, the height of each panel can be adjusted remotely by the operator, allowing for a smooth transition between speakers.

Confidence Monitor

Confidence monitors are the alternative to the presidential prompter setup. Musicians commonly use a few of them (often called “Rock ‘n Roll Monitors”) around the edge of the stage at an angle so that the audience can’t see them, but the talent can still read off of it.

The confidence monitor usually has three arrangements: on the stage, off the stage, or behind the audience.

iPad Teleprompter Rental / EyePrompter Rental

The EyePrompter is the best iPad teleprompter in the market. The EyePrompter is ideal for small productions, short scripts and tight budgets. The iPad teleprompter takes less than two minutes to set up and mounts to a low c-stand or small light stand (not included).

Keep in mind that most iPad teleprompter softwares do not allow for live script scroll speed adjustments, so the talent has to keep pace with the unit.

Podium Prompter (Podium AutoCue)

Go Green! The Podium Prompter is known to be the most invisible due to its hidden screen and wires. The monitor is situated on the top of the podium and the speaker can look down at it as if they were reading from their notes.
