Not all speakers like to give a speech behind a podium, some like to walk around the stage or even walk around the audience. If your speaker is known for walking around, then the confidence monitor is the right system.
iPad Teleprompter Rental/EyePrompt Rental
Price: $95/Day without iPad; $120/Day with iPad
The EyePrompter is a great iPad Teleprompter for those who are working with tight budgets, small productions and scripts. The EyePrompter is easy to set up and it sits on a low c-stand or small light stands. The teleprompter does not come with a stand but it does come with a adapter that is compatible with any camera. Just keep in mind that the EyePrompter can be controlled with an iPhone but it is difficult to control and you can’t adjust the speed for the talent.
Podium Prompter (AutoCue)
Price: $645/10 Hour Day
If you want a teleprompter that is completely invisible to the audience, then the Podium Prompter is perfect. The Podium Prompter is a thin screen that is situated on the podium and it will give the audience the illusion that the speaker is looking down at their notes.
